PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input pen which is simply constituted, easily manufactured, and expandable and contractible. SOLUTION: The input pen is provided with: a hollow sleeve; a brush core mounted so as to be expandable and contractible in the sleeve; a turning means rotatably fixed to the inside of the sleeve; and a regulating means for regulating the movement of the turning means along the axial direction of the sleeve. The sleeve has a guide groove, and a protruding pole is installed on the outer peripheral wall of the brush core, and the protruding pole is slidably stored in the guide groove. A concave groove for screwing a screw thread is formed on the internal surface of the brush core, and the turning means includes a rod with a screw thread formed thereon.
