PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device surely separating paper sheets from each other by responding to a size, basis weight, and surface roughness of a paper sheet to thereby stably feed the paper sheets one by one. SOLUTION: The paper feeding device includes: a paper feeding tray 31 on which a bundle of a plurality of paper sheets P is loaded thereon; a paper suction conveyance means 60 sucking the paper sheets P from the top paper sheet P of the paper bundle loaded on the paper feeding tray 31 one by one, by suction of air; and a first blowing means 40 blowing air from a side in a paper feeding direction to an upper part of the paper sheets P stacked on the paper tray 31. The paper suction conveyance means 60 includes: a suction belt 63 extended between a large roller 61 disposed upstream in the paper conveyance direction and a plurality of small rollers 62 positioned downstream of the large roller 61 and smaller in diameter than the large roller 61, and rotated by drive of the large roller 61; a suction means 64 disposed inward of the suction belt 63 to suck air; and a second blowing means 50 blowing air in a paper conveyance direction from the downstream in the paper conveyance direction to the small rollers 62.
