PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein in conventional refrigerators, although measures to form round convex parts along a circular arc shape on the outer surface of a lamp cover at vertical constant pitches or form a plurality of plane parts in the orthogonal direction of the circular arc shape along the inner surface of the lamp cover are taken to diffuse light of an LED used for interior lighting, since the light of the LED with high luminance and high directivity is not sufficiently and uniformly diffused to the entire interior side of the refrigerator only by the lamp cover, variation and unevenness of brightness occur depending on a place within the refrigerator so as to cause non-uniform visibility of food within the refrigerator due to phenomena such as shadow and darkness at corners within the refrigerator, and the insufficient diffusion of the light of the LED causes uncomfortable glare such as glaring of the LED and a portion around the LED. SOLUTION: This refrigerator includes a reflecting plate reflecting light irradiated by an LED toward a food storage part of the refrigerator. Thus, the refrigerator eliminates uneven luminance, suppresses glare by the light of the LED and enhances the visibility of food stored in the food storage part in the refrigerator.
