PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IH water heater which mainly uses sunlight, and secondarily uses IH (high frequency induction heating). SOLUTION: The IH water heater includes a hot water supply container 1 filled with a heat transfer liquid medium in an interior, an integrally formed cylindrical recessed container part 2 recessed toward a container inner side at a lower part sidewall of the hot water supply container 1 and made of a magnetic material, a cylindrical high frequency electromagnetic induction coil 3 inserted into the cylindrical recessed container part 2 from an outer side, a heat exchanger 4 annularly arranged in a hot water storage tank and built-in so as to meander from the lower part to the upper part of the hot water supply container 1, and a solar collector 5 connected so as to circulate the heat transfer liquid medium to the upper part and the lower part of the hot water supply container 1.
