PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide colored particles which are superior in transparency, color reproducibility and lightfastness, and a toner, a developer, an image forming method and an image forming apparatus which provides superior image quality. SOLUTION: The colored particles contains resin containing at least any one among hydroxyl, amino and carboxyl groups; and a metal complex salt dye, wherein the central metal of the metal complex salt dye is ionically bonded to at least any one of the hydroxyl, amino and carboxyl groups.
