PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data output circuit of a semiconductor memory which reduces coupling noise, and to provide a control method of the same. SOLUTION: The data output circuit is provided with: a plurality of global lines; a sense amplifier block configured to output a plurality of data to the global lines at different timing; a pipe latch block configured to latch the plurality of data sent via the global lines, at different timing; and a control part configured to control the output timing of the sense amplifier block and the latch timing of the pipe latch block by use of an address signal.
