PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for driving an electric pump for refrigerant for cooling an electric power converter, which reduces cost and scarcely requires a complicated drive control. SOLUTION: The system for driving the electric pump for refrigerant includes: the electric power converter performing power conversion of DC power or AC power from an electric power supply into AC power or DC power; and the electric pump for supplying a refrigerant into a circulation route that goes through the electric power converter.
