PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion type foam marker for mountain stream fishing and a float thereof, which float combinedly serves as a marker used on fishing in mountain stream fishing, capable of being attached with one action without requiring to pass through a fishing line and usable as a marker only, as a marker and a float, or, in addition, as a float only by being made larger. SOLUTION: There is provided a foamed resin of a spherical form, an egg form, an elliptical form, a cylindrical form, or another optional form, wherein a notch (1) is formed at the center thereof, and a horizontal pore or hole (2) is formed in the notch (1), a clip (6) or another elastic body (7) is inserted and attached therein, but, when the tip end of the insertion side of the clip (6) is made to be easily pierceable form, the horizontal pore or hole (2) is not formed.
