<p>Provided is a centrifugal compressor using an asymmetric self-recirculating casing treatment, in which the inside surface of a casing (10) has a suction ring groove (1), a ring guide path (2), and a back-flow ring groove (3), forming a self-recirculation channel. Either the width (b r ) of the suction ring groove (1) or the axial distance (S r ) between the upstream edge of the suction ring groove (1) and the leading edge (4) of all impeller blades is sinusoidal in the circumferential direction and is represented by A·sin(a+? 0 ) + A 0 . The initial phase angle (? 0 ) is in the range 0° = ? 0 = 360°, the range over which the angle (a) with the circumference of the casing (10) is defined is ? 0 = a = ? 0 + 360°, A is the amplitude of the axial distance (S r ) or width (b r ), and A 0 is the mean value of the axial distance (S r ) or width (b r ).</p> |
