<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device, a wireless base station device, and a communication control method which orthogonalizes uplink reference signals between several antennas in MIMO transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal includes a reference signal generation section 11 which generates demodulation reference signals by using a ZC sequence, and a cyclic shifting section 13 which cyclic-shifts the demodulation reference signals for each of several antenna ports 19 and orthogonalizes the demodulation reference signals corresponding to the several antenna ports 19 between the several antenna ports 19.
