Provided is a step-up gear device for a wind-driven electricity generation device, configured so that, even if self-aligning roller bearings are used as the bearings for planetary gears, damage due to flaking can be reduced. Also provided is a wind-driven electricity generation device. A step-up gear device (14) is configured so as to include a casing body (40), a carrier (52), planetary pins (54) which are held by the carrier (52), self-aligning roller bearing (56) which are mounted to the planetary pins (54), planetary gears (58) which are supported by the planetary pins (54) through the self-aligning roller bearings (56), and a ring gear (60) and a sun gear (62) which mesh with the planetary gears (58). The planetary gears (58) are secured by interference fit to the outer rings (56B) of the self-aligning roller bearings (56) in such a manner that end surfaces of the outer rings (56B) of the self-aligning roller bearings (56) are located on the inner side of end surfaces of the planetary gears (58). |
