EDGE LIGHT TYPE LIGHTING SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge light type lighting system which has sufficient illuminance as a lighting system by use of LED as a light source, and can be produced in a thin shape.

SOLUTION: The system includes a lightguide plate 1 having substantially a square shape; LED light sources 2 disposed with an emitting direction pointing from side end surfaces of the lightguide plate 1 to the inside of the lightguide plate 1 so as to surround the side end surfaces; a reflecting sheet 3 arranged on a reflecting surface 1b opposite to a light-outgoing surface of the lightguide plate through which light introduced from the LED light sources 2 to the lightguide plate 1 is outgoing so as to cover the lightguide plate 1; and a casing 6. A light irregular reflection portion 9 for irregularly reflecting the light is formed on the surface of the reflecting surface 1b of the lightguide plate 1 so as to located in the ground part of the reflecting surface 1b except a plurality of dots.
