PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and highly reliable elevator sill groove shielding device for reducing the number of part items, reducing a load in opening-closing operation, and easy in maintenance-inspection. SOLUTION: This elevator sill groove shielding device includes a windable shielding body for blocking up a sill groove when opening a door of an elevator, a reel capable of winding and rewinding the shielding body, and a flat spiral spring biased in the direction for winding the reel, allowing the shielding body to be delivered from the reel by door opening driving force when opening the door but winding the shielding body on the reel when closing the door.
