<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for transfer a medical image without giving any load onto an image management system when replacing the image management system, and for registering quickly a required medical image in the replaced image management system in an image management technique for managing the medical image. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image management system includes a storage means for storing the medical image prepared by an image preparation means; a management means for managing a storage position in the storage means and additional information included in the medical image, in association with each other regarding the medical image; a determination means for determining the priority about registration processing of the medical image, based on information related to a slice thickness included in the medical image, out of the additional information; and a processing means for registration-processing the medical image stored in the storage means, based on the priority. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
