<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a molded pulp product moldable to a form having appearance unattainable by conventional molded pulp production process and various surface properties. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the molded pulp product 10 comprises a pulp suspension preparation step to prepare a pulp suspension, a papermaking step to form a pulp sheet from the pulp suspension with a mesh mold, and a hot-pressing step to produce the molded pulp product with a first press mold placed under the mesh mold and a second press mold positioned on the opposite side of the first press mold while heating the formed pulp sheet obtained by the papermaking step. The heating temperature of the hot-pressing step is 120-220°C, the pressing time of the hot-pressing step is≥45 sec, and the clearance between the first press mold and the second press mold is 0.3-1.5 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
