PROTECTION MEMBER FOR ELECTRIC WIRE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate bending an electric wire partially, when protecting the electric wire by using nonwoven fabric.

SOLUTION: A protection member 20 for the electric wire protects an electric wire bundle 12 by covering it, and is formed by hot-pressing a nonwoven fabric. The member includes a route regulating portion 22 along the extension direction of the electric wire bundle 12 which is to be protected and a bending allowed portion 24 which is bent more easily than the route regulating portion 22. The route regulating portion 22 and the bending allowed portion 24 are fabricated differently by, for example, hot-pressing nonwoven fabric at different compression degrees.
