Disclosed is a blood purification device that is able to prevent a user from forgetting to connect a fluid replacement line by automatically confirming the connection of said fluid replacement line to a collection opening that is formed in a prescribed location on a dialysis fluid introduction line. The blood purification device is equipped with a dialyzer (1), an arterial side blood circuit (2) in which a blood pump (4) has been disposed, a venous side blood circuit (3), the dialysis fluid introduction line (L1), a dialysis fluid discharge line (L2), the fluid replacement line (L8), and a fluid replacement pump (13), wherein a closed circuit is formed in the flow channel of the dialysis fluid on the dialysis fluid introduction line (L1) side including the prescribed location where the collection opening (11) has been formed, and a testing process for confirming the connection of the fluid replacement line (L8) to the collection opening (11) is performed by driving the fluid replacement pump (13) while measuring the fluid pressure within said closed circuit. |
