The invention relates to a ring that attaches to any type of drumstick or any other element between the musician and the percussion instrument to serve as a striker, and which can be made of various materials: soft and flexible, or stiffer, such as wool, rubber, nylon, etc. The drumstick is inserted into the opening of the ring, which can be located on any part of the drumstick neck. The ring is meant to serve as an additional striker that provides another type of sound, tone, etc. without having to change drumsticks or flip said drumsticks around several times during the same performance; it is even possible to attach a plurality of rings to obtain different sounds from one instrument or a plurality thereof, it being possible to attach the ring to other objects: flutes, sticks, etc. such that the object can serve as a striker.
