<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unevenness in density due to vibration caused by rotation of a photoreceptor even when drawing an image with a great printing ratio such as a photograph. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a conveying means for conveying the recording medium; and an image forming means for forming the image on the recording medium conveyed by a conveying means by applying recording material to an electrostatic latent image formed based on image data. The image forming apparatus also includes a characteristic acquiring means for acquiring the characteristic of the image data from the image data and a control means for varying the conveying speed of the recording medium according to the acquired image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
