A method, program and system of tyre monitoring of a vehicle 1 is described. The tyre pressure and a tyre temperature is monitored for at least one tyre of the vehicle. A user alarm is activated the tyre temperature of any monitored tyre of the vehicle exceeds a predetermined temperature, regardless of the tyre pressure of the monitored tyre. The monitored tyre may be that of an auxiliary vehicle 2 from the main vehicle 1.
