The coupling adapter (1) has a base element (3) with a front side (2), at which one of the multiple coupling elements is arranged. A coupling arm (4) is provided for the insertion in a coupling mouth which is formed for receiving the coupling arm. The base element has a side arm for contacting side surfaces of a transport system, particularly a loading platform.
