<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device configured to converge a laser beam emitted from a two-wavelength laser diode on an optical disk by the converging operation of an objective lens. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device includes: an objective lens 7 for receiving a first laser beam and a second laser beam emitted from a two-wavelength laser diode 1, and converging the first laser beam and the second laser beam on signal recording layers formed on a first optical disk D1 and a second optical disk D2 of different standards; and a collimator lens 6 disposed in an optical path between the two-wavelength laser diode 1 and the objective lens 7 so as to convert dispersion light emitted from the two-wavelength laser diode 1 into parallel light. Astigmatism of the first laser beam and the second laser beam emitted from the two-wavelength laser diode 1 is corrected by tilting the collimator lens 6 with respect to an optical axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
