<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of improvement of printing quality and reduction of printing failure in a printing apparatus capable of inspecting printing failure occurrence rate. <P>SOLUTION: An inspection controller 430 of the printing apparatus 70 creates a second image data (S906) by reading sheets printed with a plurality of pages by a printer engine 10 based on a first image data containing the plurality of pages by an image reader 410, detects (S907) amounts of printing displacement of the respective pages printed on the sheet from the first image data and the second image data, determines (S911, S912) whether or not the amounts of detected printing displacement of the respective pages fall within an allowable value range. When an inside binding bookbinding processing is set as a printing setting when performing the printing based on the first data, the inspection controller controls (S908-S911) to change the allowable value in the specific page wherein an image exists in a peripheral region of a folding part of the sheet and the other pages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
