摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust a phase for a video signal which makes level transition at a phase where a start edge and an end edge of a video are close to each other. <P>SOLUTION: The display device adjusts a phase of a quantization clock of an AD conversion means for converting an analog video signal into a digital video signal. A phase adjusting means acquires a level transition waveform with respect to the phase change of the quantization clock, and calculates, from the level transition waveform, a first phase where the analog video signal ends transition from a first level to a second level, a second phase where transition from the second level to the first level is started, a third phase where transition from the first level to the second level is started, and a fourth phase where transition from the second level to the first level is ended. A phase between the overlapping period start position of the larger among the first phase and the fourth phase and the overlapping period end phase of the smaller among the second phase and the third phase is set as a phase of the quantization clock. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
