<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently store a waste toner recovered from an image holding member into a toner storage container for a waste toner, and to suitably use an empty toner storage container for supply a toner as the toner storage container for the waste toner. <P>SOLUTION: Toner storage containers 30 which are identical are used as the toner storage container 30A for a supply toner for storing the supply toner ta to be supplied to a developing device 14, and the toner storage container 30B for a waste toner for storing the waste toner to be recovered from the image holding members 2 and 11. Each toner storage container is provided with an attachment portion 33 which has an opening 32 serving as a toner inlet/outlet at one end side of a cylindrical toner storage portion 31 for storing the toner. In each toner storage container, to the attachment portion, a toner storage portion is attached so as to be rotatable, and a spiral conveying projection 35 is projected from the circumferential face of the toner storage portion along the axial direction for conveying the toner accompanied by the rotation of the toner storage portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
