THE DROSOPHILA CG4548 GENE DELETION MUTANTS AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A drosophila mutant which does not include CG4548 gene and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to analogize the function of XNP by making mutant and variable species by an imprecise excision method. CONSTITUTION: A drosophila mutant which does not include CG4548 gene is made from EP635 variable species. A P transposable element is inserted into the upper part of CG4548 gene. The P transposable element is cut by an imprecise excision method. A DNA piece including 19~764th bases is cut from a transfer starting part of CG4548 gene. The DNA piece including 19~709th bases is cut from the transfer starting part of CG4548 gene. The DNA piece including 19~532th bases is cut from the transfer starting part of CG4548 gene.
