The holder (1) for a spray device such as spray bar (2), comprises a fastening element (3) for fixing the holder to a treatment device (10) for spraying food and/or fodder i.e. to a base (11) of the treatment device, and a receptacle for the spraying device. The holder is designed such that the spraying device is incorporated into the receptacle adjustable in a shifting direction relative to the fastening element i.e. into a spray chamber of the treatment device or beyond the spray chamber, where a swivel axis is pivotable relative to the fastening element. The receptacle is formed as a bar, relative to which the spraying device is adjustable in the shifting direction. The receptacle, relative to the fastening element, is adjustable in the shifting direction. The swivel axis passes at an angle of at most 10[deg] parallel to the shifting direction. A swivel arm is pivotable to the swivel axis relative to the fastening element and the receptacle is arranged on one end of the swivel arm and the fastening element is arranged on the other end of the swivel arm.
