PURPOSE: A method for providing call background sound of a smart phone is provided to direct various environment through background sound which is edited in the smart phone. CONSTITUTION: A control unit generates call background sound data from the audio signal by controlling the background sound generator if an audio signal for call background sound is received(S120). The control unit sets the background sound data by controlling a call sound environment setting unit according the background sound(S130). The control unit stores the set background environment information to a storage unit with the background sound data(S140).
