PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone-type vacuum cleaner improving a cyclone function inexpensively. SOLUTION: The cyclone-type vacuum cleaner 1 includes a cleaner body 2 having an electric blower 5 and a cyclone-type dust collecting part 3 attachably/detachably set to the body 2, wherein the part 3 includes a cyclone cylinder 13 and a guide part 14 for so guiding air stream as to flow along an inner wall 13A of the cyclone cylinder 13. A cylinder part 17 for insertion of a suction hose member 4 is insertably provided on the guide part 14. A wall in a center side of the part 3 in one end 17A of the part 17 is bent to the outer peripheral side of the part 3 to form a bent part 17B. Thereby despite a simple and inexpensive structure, whirling stream flows along the outer peripheral side of the cyclone cylinder 13 and renders its angular velocity larger to improve the centrifugal-separation function.
