PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component supply device that prevents a cover tape from jumping out of a discharge port even if a discharge port cover is opened owing to an excess of a stored volume of the cover tape. SOLUTION: A cover tape storage portion 8 is provided with the discharge port cover 9 which opens and closes the discharge port 8b thereof. A lock member 11a provided to the discharge port 8b of the cover tape storage portion 8 and a first stopper part 9e provided to the discharge port cover 9 are normally engaged with each other to hold the discharge port cover 9 closed. If the discharge port cover 9 is pushed by the cover tape 22 to be opened owing to the excess of the stored volume of the cover tape 22, the lock member 11a and a second stopper part 9f provided to the discharge port cover 9 are engaged with each other and the discharge port cover 9 is stopped in an opening state which is a non-fully-opened state.
