<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for making incineration ash of waste harmless, capable of efficiently preventing the elution of heavy metal present in incineration ash of waste coming out of a waste incinerator without requiring a combustion furnace for supplying heat to the incineration ash to keep it at a high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for making incineration ash of waste harmless, capable of preventing the elution of heavy metal from incineration ash of waste, includes a solar-heat collection device 11, a solar-heat receiving device 9 that receives the solar heat from the solar-heat collection device 11 and heats a heating medium by exchanging the solar heat received thereby, a carbon-dioxide separating device 12 for separating carbon dioxide from exhaust discharged from a waste incinerator, a carbon-dioxide heating device 6 for heating carbon dioxide separated by the carbon-dioxide separating device 12 by way of exchanging heat with the heating medium heated by the solar-heat receiving device 9, and an incineration-ash reactor 1 that receives the incineration ash, receives heated carbon dioxide from the carbon-dioxide heating device 6, causes the incineration ash to contact the heated carbon dioxide, and makes heavy metal contained in the incineration ash insoluble. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
