<p>A display arrangement comprises a banner (2), one edge of which is secured to a hollow, flexible rod (3). A spring arrangement (9) is located within the rod (3). The spring arrangement (9) comprises a spring (10) that extends along a predetermined length (4) of the rod (3) and an elastic band (11) that is looped through the length of the rod (3) down the interior of the spring (10) and around the exterior of the rod (3). The banner (2) may be curved and posed by flexing the rod (3) at the location of the spring (10). This curve is then retained in the banner (2) by a balancing tension in the exterior portion (12) of the elastic band (11) between the ends of the rod (3). In some embodiments, the display arrangement is connected to one or more similar arrangements so that their banners (2) form a continuous display.</p> |
