<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a display panel that enables a user to check a display of jam removal order without greatly changing the position of the user. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 including an image forming section 3, a paper feeding section 4, and a paper feed path 5, and the display panel 10 is provided with a display screen 12 supporting the display panel 10 on an apparatus body 2 so as to render the display panel 10 movable, and configured such that if a conveyance jam of paper occurs in the paper feed path 5, the location where the conveyance jam has occurred and jam removal procedure are displayed. The paper feed path 5 can be exposed from the apparatus body 2 when conveyance jam occurs. The display panel 10 is configured such that when a jam is removed, the display screen 12 is able to be changed in position from the initial position substantially parallel to the upper surface of the apparatus body 2 to the jam removal position oriented toward the paper feed path 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
