<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suitably reducing frictional force in the image forming apparatus capable of reducing the frictional force between a cleaning blade and an image carrier surface by supplying toner to the image carrier surface. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus can execute a toner supply process for supplying toner on a surface of a photoreceptor drum 1.
