PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which achieves installation of a contact on a housing without causing looseness between the contact and the housing. SOLUTION: The electric connector 100 is provided with a contact 110 and a housing 170 in which the contact 110 is inserted from one side face side and is held by housing in a contact housing part 180. The contact 110 is provided with a contact wiring part 120, a contact engagement part 130 to be engaged with a housing engagement part 181a, a contact locking part 150 which is locked with a housing locking part 183, and a contact spring part 140.
