PURPOSE: A portable terminal is provided to adjust the direction of a display device to a user eye direction while the user manipulates the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A hinge bracket(103) is fixed to a first housing(101). A rotary member(104) is connected to a second housing(102). The rotary member is rotatibely connected to the hinge bracket. A cam surface is offered on the rotary member. A pair of recess portions are placed on the cam surface. A cam member(105) performs the vertical direction movement on the hinge bracket.
