PURPOSE: A read method and apparatus thereof are provided to increase the function of an external device that is interfaced with DSP and to improve the performance of DSP. CONSTITUTION: An address decode logic(2) interfaces an input/output IC. A 8-bit input/output IC(3) or a circuit is connected to a 8-bit data bus(D0-7). A 16-bit input/output IC(4) is connected to 16 bit data bus. A zero data buffer makes data bus D8~D15. A zero data buffer makes data bus D16~D31.
