PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral gasket which is hard to disassemble even when an unavoidable external force is applied to the gasket before use, and which can secure a surface pressure required for sealing even when a groove deepens by repairing a groove flange. SOLUTION: This spiral gasket 10 is formed by winding in layer a metal hoop material 1 which has an approximately V-shaped cross-section and a filler material 2, and has a gasket body X whose both sides act as pressure receiving surfaces which abut on sealing surfaces.
