PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening device which does not need construction of a floor rail and which can prevent rattle caused by the shaking of a hanging door even when it is a general-purpose hanging door. SOLUTION: A regulating member 40 which regulates the shaking of a Shoji 2 in the direction of the outer surface by sandwitching the lower frame 2c of the Shoji 2 from the direction of the outer surface of the Shoji 2 is provided on the floor surface provided in proximity to the lower end of the meeting stile 2b of at least the Shoji 2 on one side when the Shoji 2, 3 of a multiple-sheet sliding type are closed. The regulating member 40 includes a thin-plate-shaped base board 41 provided on the floor surface in a state where it crosses the lower frame 2c of the Shoji 2 and regulating blocks 42, 42 which are formed integrally at both ends of the base plate 41 and are projected upward and which are provided so that they can sandwitch the lower frame 2c. The regulating member 40 is fixed on the floor surface with a screw which is screwed on the floor surface while being inserted from above and is provided on the inner side of the regulating blocks 42, 42 so that it cannot be projected upward over the regulating blocks 42, 42.
