The system has a temperature sensor unit provided with a wireless transmitter, where the transmitter sets an emission signal while exceeding a temperature threshold. A rail car is provided with a central unit which receives signals transmitted from the temperature sensor unit and transmits overheat stating signal to the central unit of the rail car. The locomotive of the train is provided with a receiver unit which recognizes the signals received by the central unit and releases an acoustic alarm signal.
