<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector device in which a function of a switching mechanism can be temporarily recovered when failure occurs in the operation of the switching mechanism without increasing the number of parts of the device and without impairing the design of the exterior of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The projector device 100 includes first and second lamps 102 and 104, the switching mechanism 200 for changing an optical path of light from the second lamp 104, and the exterior 170 for storing them. The switching mechanism 200 includes a mirror 202 for reflecting the light from the second lamp 104, a mirror holding member 204, and a rotary shaft 218 that is arranged in the mirror holding member 204, whose one end 230 projects to the rear surface of the switching mechanism 200, and whose torque is transferred to the end 230 by a tool 300.
