The invention describes a method for decorating metal or metal-coated plates or semifinished or finished products formed with these plates, which can be used for example in the furnishing or jewellery sector or for the production of tags, medals or the like. The method envisages the use of solder or similar products for forming the base supporting the colouring varnishes which may be applied using the technique of direct silk-screen printing or the transfer method. Before the plate is subject to the electrolytic or anelectric metal-coating step, a chemical etching step is envisaged, said step involving the perimetral outlining of the decorated product which remains attached to the plate swarf by means of small bridge-pieces 4 which are broken at the end of the working cycle, after the abovementioned metal- coating step. <IMAGE> |
