PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoacoustic engine capable of shortening a loop. SOLUTION: In the thermoacoustic engine 1, in a looped tube 2 filled with working fluid, a prime mover 6 constituted of a heater 3, a regenerator 4 and a cooler 5 is installed.
