A self-cleaning reactor for high viscosity stream in the field of polyester production apparatus comprises a housing (4). The housing (4) is a horizontal cylinder, both ends of which are closed. A gas evacuation outlet (10) is arranged on the housing (4) and connected with the inner cavity thereof. A material inlet (3) is arranged at one end of the top of the housing (4), and a material outlet (15) is arranged at the other end of the bottom of the housing (4). A rotatable rolling drum (8) is arranged in the inner cavity of the housing (4) and extends from the bottom of the material inlet (3) to the top of the material outlet (15). External propeller blades (6) are installed around the external circumference of the rolling drum (8) and adapted to the internal wall of the housing (4). A central shaft (9) is coaxially arranged at the center of the rolling drum (8). Internal propeller blades (7) are fixedly installed outside of the central shaft (9) and adapted to the inner wall of the rolling drum (8). A plurality of through holes (5) is arranged on the surface of the rolling drum (8).
