PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, capable of improving the feeding accuracy of recording medium and reducing the noise during continuous feeding, while suppressing increase in the apparatus cost. SOLUTION: When a paper pressing plate 15 is moved from a placement position to a transport position by the rotational drive force of a main motor 95, the drive power to be transmitted from the main motor 95 to a photoreceptor drum 29 is cut off, in order to make the paper pressing plate move at a low speed. Consequently, the paper-pressing plate 15 can be stopped with accuracy at the transport position, without shortening the service life of the photoreceptor drum 29. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
