SHARED MESH PROTECTION SWITCHING METHOD AND APPARATUS

A protection switching method of a shared node, in which protection resources of a plurality of end-to-end linear protection domains are shared, is provided. The shared node receives a first protection switching event message showing that a protection switching event is generated, from a first node of a first end-to-end linear protection domain, and determines a protection switching limit of a second end-to-end linear protection domain by comparing protection switching priorities of the first end-to-end linear protection domain and the second end-to-end linear protection domain.
