<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden on a user who confirms and changes a print configuration if a color toner is empty, and reduce a frequency at which a print process is delayed. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming system includes: a receiving part (LAN_I/F7) for receiving print data; a first image forming part 8B for accommodating a first developer, and forming an image by using the first developer; second image forming parts 8C, 8M, 8Y for accommodating a second developer, and forming the image by using the second developer; a residual quantity detecting part 2a for detecting the residual quantity of the first and second developers; an analyzing part 2b for analyzing the print data; and a print control part 2c for restricting an implementation of the print when the analyzing part determines that the print data includes the image formed by the second image forming parts if the residual quantity detecting part detects that the residual quantity of the second developer is a predetermined quantity or less, and implements the print when the analyzing part determines that the print data includes only the image formed by the first image forming part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
