PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting arrester that eliminates the need for separate installation of a filter and a lighting arrester, and is hardly affected by an external environment. SOLUTION: The lighting arrester is connected to a feeder 1B connected to an aerial, wherein an undesired high-frequency signal at a frequency of fr (fp>fr) to a high-frequency signal of a frequency fp flows. The lighting arrester includes: a basic stub 11, where one end is short-circuited for grounding and the other end is connected to the feeder 1B, and length is set based on a wavelengthλp of a high-frequency signal of the frequency fp to make an impedance at a connection point A infinite to the high-frequency signal of the frequency fp; and a correction stub 12, where length is set to make connection to the basic stub 11 by branching and to set the impedance at the connection point A to zero against an undesired high-frequency signal at the frequency fr.
