<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cursor positioning control device accurately and quickly stopping and positioning a cursor displayed on the display of a computer, for example, to a target. <P>SOLUTION: The cursor positioning control device 1 includes: a cursor movement quantity measurement means measuring a measurement value corresponding to the movement quantity of the cursor on the display at each predetermined time; and a cursor deceleration determination means subtracting an N-th measurement value (N is a natural number) from an (N-1)-th measurement value in the cursor movement quantity measurement means and determining deceleration of the cursor when the subtraction value exceeds a predetermined threshold. In the cursor deceleration determination means, a command signal to further decelerate the movement of the cursor at least beyond a cursor movement deceleration speed instructed by a person is generated if the number of continuous occurrence when the predetermined threshold is exceeded becomes a stipulated number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
