<p>A method for transmitting the multicarrier-supported capability of a terminal (user equipment UE), is provided by the present invention, when UE supports multicarrier, UE sends a message, which is used for exchanging with radio network controller (RNC) and carries the multicarrier-supported capability of UE, to RNC; RNC parses the exchange message from UE and obtains the multicarrier-supported capability of UE. A system for transmitting the multicarrier-supported capability of UE is also provided by the present invention. Through the method and system of the present invention, the network side can learn the multicarrier-supported capability of UE, and hereunder determines whether the multicarrier cell receiving can be adopted by the service.</p> |
